The Pégas® Scroll Band Saw

Description

The Pegas® Scroll Band Saw is a precision machine designed to be used with the Pegas® Scroll Band Saw Blades. These blades range from as small as 1/32″ up to 1/8″. Pegas® blades, the finest and most accurate blades ever produced, were developed for hobbyists and skilled professionals.

The base of the Pegas® Scroll Band Saw is a solid, heavy cast-iron frame. Next, the balanced flat wheels covered with a durable tire help the blades stay in position in the precision-machined support bearings above and below the table. These bearings, with the machined slots sized for different sizes of blades, support the blade above and below the table, allowing you to cut tighter turns than any other band saw.

To ensure the saw has plenty of power for whatever you want to cut, it features a 3/4 horsepower motor, which can be set to two different speeds. Use the higher speed for woodworking, and the lower speed for cutting softer metals (using the same Pegas® Scroll Band Saw Blades). To finish off the saw, it features a heavy cast-iron table with a 40-degree tilt capability and a dust collection system positioned directly under the table for optimal efficiency.
